#2 HSF MEETING@CROATIA 2014
General Info
Four years ago, the HSF organized a scientific session in Croatia which brought together members of the Forum in one location. For most of us, we met face-to-face for the first time after years of email-only correspondence. A number of the surgeons had reached international notoriety solely due to their exposure through the HSF. During this period, numerous new techniques and devices have evolved, helping surgical community to struggle with more complicated patients and, in the same time, bringing new challenges and raising many questions. The time has come to meet again, and share our experience, fears, and thoughts.
Contributing authors are kindly asked to present their challenging cases, within 15 min ORAL presentation with discussion following.
Cases should cover all fields of cardiac surgery such as:
• CORONARY SURGERY
• VALVE SURGERY
• AORTIC SURGERY
• CONGENITAL SURGERY
• HEART FAILURE, ASSIST DEVICES, HEART TRANSPLANT
• Other fields of expertise and interest
