At the Main Railway station there is 24 hour Exchange Office.
All major credit cards are accepted, including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners.
Visa
EU nationals do not require a visa to enter the Republic of Croatia. Generally speaking, all other foreigners require a visa for stays in Croatia. A visa is not required for semi-annual visits of up to three months for nationals of those countries for which the European Community has abolished the visa requirement. For details see: http://www.mvpei.hr/MVP.asp?pcpid=1615
Zagreb Airport is located 17 km from the centre of the city, or 20-25 minutes by bus. Information on flights can be obtained by calling 6265-222.
Shopping
The heart of Zagreb has a smorgasbord of famous world and Croatian designer clothes. Simply doddle off to Gundulićeva and Frankopanska Streets (B-2/3) and you’ll find labels such as Max Mara, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel... When you’re in the vicinity of the Flower Square, head down to Varšavska Street (B-2) for Kenzo. For those who prefer shopping centres there is Kaptol Centre, Importanne Galleria and the new Centar Cvjetni.
A day out in town cannot go without a sneak preview or taste of some local delicacies and a visit to a gift or antique store.
Most of the shops are open daily from 09-20 h (Monday-Friday) and from 09-15 on Saturday.
